Shipping
- 4 More shipping methods.
- Shipping Priority
Being able to set a priority of shipping method per country and zones.
This feature allows you to control which shipping options customers see first based on their location. You can assign a priority order to each shipping method for specific countries or shipping zones.
For example, if a customer is in Australia, you may want Express Post to appear before Standard Post. For customers in New Zealand, you might prioritise International Courier instead.
By setting these priorities, the checkout will automatically sort and display the most suitable or preferred shipping method at the top, improving the customer experience and ensuring they select the ideal option for their region. - Shipping classes
provide a way to group products based on their type, such as dry goods and wet goods. Each class can then have its own specific shipping settings and parameters.
For example:
Dry goods may use standard packaging, lower shipping costs, or regular delivery options.
Wet goods may require special handling, insulation, temperature control, or different freight rules.
By assigning products to the appropriate shipping class, the system can automatically apply the correct shipping methods, rates, and rules during checkout. - Check shipping
This tool lets you look up a country, zone, or postal code to confirm whether it is supported by a specific shipping method or shipping class. It’s a quick way to verify coverage and ensure the correct options are available for that location.
