How to use Custom Order Fields
There are 3 types of custom fields that can be used in the Order Custom Fields
Fields and how to use them
- Types:
- Text
The name of the field - Yes/No
Select option of Yes and No (Mainly used for questions) - Select list
Both the Admin and Portal user can build a select list to suit they needs
- Text
- Name
- Values
- Sort
- Attributes
- Required:
Mandatory to select before checking out - Client:
Client can control (Only used on Select Option)
- Required:
- Delete
Example
In this example I will be building a Delivery Address List for the client to fill in
Step 1
- Type = Select
- Name = Delivery Address
- Attributes = Required and Client
Step 2
The client can new interact with the new custom field and add they delivery Address in. As they fill in and save, it will also show these addresses in the admin section
Once they click SAVE FIELDS
It will now show in the Admin section
Checkout in Customer view
The Custom Order fields, will show in:
- Admin Order Details
- Warehouse Order Details
- Customer Admin Order Details
